Hey there! I'm currently working on some new light plans and I thought it would be great to do a few things in the shot list.

I'd love to have a 'custom' option in the shot numbering area of the shot list. I've gone through all the options and I still can't find the right numbering option for me. Right now I'm using the 'Multicam 1-A, 1-B, 1-C" option because it's the closest but I'd really love to be able to set the camera name as just "1A, 1B, 1C" without 'cam' or the hyphen between the number and letter.

Also I would love to be able to set the name of the shot, but not have it appear on the lighting diagram under the camera.

Oh and one last thing! I would love to be able to create motion paths for lighting objects too... so for example, I have a handheld shot where I want to have an electrician Hollywood a flag and follow along side the actor as they move. So it would be great to be able to set a kind of "move to" path like we can with cameras.

Thanks very much!
The shot numbers are internally encoded into an integer, which is what allows changing numbering scheme, but it disallows a true free-form numbering scheme. I'm happy to add a scheme that doesn't have a hyphen or a Shot/Cam identifier. I'll add it to the list.

Strange that lights can't be animated. I'm wondering if we turned it off. But since these objects are basically the same as all other objects, perhaps it's just something we can turn on.

These are changes that require a document version upgrade, which we've been avoiding conflating with infrastructure upgrades, because if there's anything wrong, people wouldn't even be able to downgrade. But the next updates will now change the format in order to add such features.
