# Auto pages generator needs to add leading 0 for sorting

Hey team. Love the auto page arranger based on multicam shot number. However if I have more than 9 pages, the ordering gets a bit messed up because it will go, for example, 1, 11, 12, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10… maybe a small tweak for you to add a leading 0 to the page number when you automatically create them. Thanks!

No, it just needs better sorting. I’ll add it to the list, although most of the love goes into Shot Designer 3D, which has a launch approaching slowly.

Basically, if you have a file list on Mac/Windows, numbers are sorted by their meaning, not just by the characters. The file selector in Shot Designer 2D already does this, and it’s pure omission that this isn’t done for multicam. People must have either just lived with it, or you’re pushing it further than normal.
