Hello!

New to using the software, so I’m sure this is user error but I’m having an issue with head turns.

I have a complex dolly shot that involves a character turning his head to face three different directions.

It resolves at the end of the dolly shot. My question is, if I go to a new page and delete those head turns is there a way it won’t delete them for the page them on? For example, this is the first shot of the film, so I want it to the turns for page 1, but when I deleted them on page 2 the turns went away from page 1 also.

Is it possible? Thanks!

Hi,

Pages are meant as “layers”, i.e. splitting a single, complex and messy diagram up into multiple printed pages for clarity. All the objects and all the action are the same on every page. It’s basically a filter that shows only some things on some pages.

There isn’t really a way to do what you want, which is for each page to effective be its own scene where different things happen. But you could perhaps fake it by making a new and separate move that does different things and only shows up on that page.
