You should be able to delete the items from the boneyard directly. But in truth, this will all change with sync, because sync thinks completely differently about deletion. The Boneyard is also a confusing concept. It’s possible what we just ended up designing is simply a trash can, and then it could have an empty trash function.
That said, are you creating separate documents for separate episodes? If you have storylines that go across episode boundaries, the app as a whole is designed around all the episodes being in one project. By using separate documents, you completely lose the correspondence between episodes, including the ability to move episode markers around for good running times when episodes grow or shrink.
On a TV series we constantly move beats between episodes. I really like the fact that this is seamless in Causality. I’ve done it a lot.
However, Causality’s episode marker does not reset the timeline. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe clicking on the episode marker should display a checkbox for zeroing the timeline.
I want to know that the hero rescues the cat at 45 minutes into the second episode, not 95 minutes from the start of the season. And, also, if I modify the length of episode one, I don’t want it shifting the times in episode two.
PS: Extending this idea, it’s super useful if reports could handle multiple episodes. You’ll often shoot the same location over multiple episodes. In Causality, generating that information from a report would be a natural. E.g. showing as e2-p25, not p75.
It’s top of the list to get more serious about making it convenient to work with multiple episodes, and yes, resetting the timer is at the very top of the list and is coming very soon.
Resetting the timer per-episode.
Easier episode filter selection so you can just switch episodes.
