Need to use it in two devices

I have an Ipad and Macbook pro and I cannot use shot designer in my macbook. It doesent run, Its just working on my iPad. Please help

Thanks for posting! It sounds like you purchased on the Apple App Store. That only activates you on Apple mobile devices, and extra steps are needed to run the app on other devices.

  1. Create a Hollywood Camera Work account at Register :: Account :: Hollywood Camera Work if you haven’t already.
  2. Ensure that you’re activated on your mobile device (that you can use Pro features and don’t see any green Pro icons). Otherwise select I Already Own It → Restore.
  3. Sign in to the mobile app. This is the first time our systems hear about the mobile purchase.
  4. You should now see a Transfer License in your web account at My Orders :: Account :: Hollywood Camera Work
  5. You can now sign in on all other platforms, and activate on up to 5 devices concurrently.
  6. If you don’t see a Transfer License, please contact support@hollywoodcamerawork.com.
  7. If there’s an error, please quote the exact error when contacting support.

1- I alrready have an account.
2- The only device its working properly is my mobile device (ipad)
3- I’m
4- I dont see this transfer license.
5- Still cant use it on my lap top

. It just crashes in all white view- I cant even close the app once its open on my lap top

I have been use this app for a cuple of years on my lap top whitout any problem. Then I install the app in my ipad and all this nightmare begins.

Just to be 100% clear, is it the iPad you’re having trouble on? It’s only that the screenshot is a Mac window.

The white screen issue is due to an issue during startup that we’re having an impossible time getting telemetry on because the app is written in an old framework. We believe it’s because of a poor SQLite (database) driver provided as part of this framework that hasn’t been updated in 10 years. Please follow these instructions to reset a few databases and settings:

Please do the following steps slowly and carefully in order to get Apple to recognize a new set of work folders.

Solution 1 of 2:

1.) Sign out of Shot Designer. Then Quit.

2.) Go to Finder → Go menu → Go To Folder → ~/Library/Application Support/

3.) Delete us.hollywoodcamerawork.shotdesigner, and restart the app. Go to the website and reset all your activations, then sign in again. This will not affect your data.

Solution 2 of 2:

1.) Quit Shot Designer.

2.) Move Documents->Shot Designer Scenes to the desktop.

3.) Start Shot Designer. Quit it again.

4.) Copy the contents of the folder you copied to the desktop into the newly recreated Documents->Shot Designer Scenes folder.

5.) Start Shot Designer again.
