Suggestion: Adding the ability to drag and drop text within and between Beats

I love Causality and would like to suggest a feature to make text management easier: the ability to drag and drop text within and between Beats, similar to the drag-and-drop features in Microsoft Word and Google Docs.

Having the ability to highlight a word or word chunk and then drag it to another place on the page without having to copy and paste all the time would be wonderful!

Thank you for your consideration in this matter and for making such a wonderful piece of software. It’s been a real game-changer in my workflow!

Hi,

I’ll add it to the list. I think this behavior is actually already part of the text-editing control we use, but we might have overlooked it.

How important is it to be able to drag text between beats versus within the same beat?

I’d say dragging text within the same beat is most important, but dragging between beats would also be very nice!
